A brief history of our fellowship:

In 1969 I accepted the calling of the Lord to salvation.  I had a fervent desire to study His Word.  After 9 years of studying the Lord opened a door for me to preach His gospel.  In March of 1978 we began our work in the old AME building on Warren St.  We were able to purchase the house next to it for our classrooms.  The church itself was one room.  It took a lot of work to get it ready to use.  Paul Aldridge, and Billy Yother added our bathrooms, and more foyer space.  We were here till 2003 when Gerald Speer, and myself decided to trade buildings.  We went from a 70 seat capacity to a 225 seat capacity.  As you can see we still have plenty of room.

We have tried to be the church Jesus said He would build, and the gates of hell would not prevail against it.  All we need to find the structure of this church is in the Bible.  It is our rule of faith, and standard to live by.  We believe it to be the infallible Word of God.

I am very proud of all our congregation, and I know that when God calls me away, you that remain will be in very good hands.  I also want to thank you for your faithful support, and prayers, and being here to hear the Word.

So today we will use the remaining time for songs, Scripture readings, and testimonies.  Feel free to do whichever the Lord leads you to do.  Please stay and enjoy a meal with us after the service is over.
